Sunday Igboho Has Done No Wrong By Protecting His People From Killer Herdsmen- Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri has backed freedom fighter, Sunday Igboho to keep on fighting for his people against killer herdsmen.
Recall DSS stormed the residence of Igboho to arrest him but he miraculously escaped from the DSS. Reno Omokri has applauded him for showing up at the Lagos rally despite the threats he received from the DSS as he explained that Igboho is not flouting any rule once he is protecting his people against killer herdsmen.
He captioned his post as: Imagine a government that says that bandits and killer herdsmen can be tolerated even though they kill Nigerians, as long as they believe in one Nigeria, but Sunday Igboho cannot be tolerated because he does not believe in Nigeria even though he doesn’t kill Nigerians.
Indeed, I am impressed that Igboho’s rally still held, despite desperate attempts by the Buhari junta to stop it. Sunday Igboho is a hero. He has done no wrong by protecting his people from killer herdsmen because Article 51 of the United Nations charter gives him that right.
He and his supporters also have a right of freedom of association, and I commend them for utilising that right in the face of obvious attempts to intimidate them.
His post sparked some reactions and the following are some reactions from fans.
c_mayor01: This is not funny anymore the northerners have a mission. The government is against the South, East and West. I thought as much, all the top people in government are from northern part of the country who will speak or defend us when they come for us? This make me remember Martin Niemöller quote ( First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me and there was no one left to speak for me.) We shouldn’t be so ignorant of their plans and keep quiet while watching them attack the only voices we have, while they negotiate with Fulani herdsmen, Bandit and Boko Haram with money and social amenities even employing them into prominent positions in government. We might not survive till 2023 due to the way insecurity is increasing on a daily basis
