“My Identity Looks Like That Of A Criminal, But I’m An Artiste” – Man Arrested By Lagos Police Cries Out

An underground Nigerian musician called King of Madness was nabbed by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command at the State Police Headquarter in Ikeji.

According to Punch, the musician known as King of Madness was arrested by the Police whiles he was on his way to a musical event he was billed to perform.

He revealed that he was in the Uber car he boarded to the show at Lekki in the nght at about 10:45 and he can’t fathom what he did to find himself at the Lagos State Police.

King of Madness said that although his appearance projects him like a criminal, he is not one but he is an artist and he revealed that the Police did not find any material that suggests he is a criminal after they searched him.

King of Madness said, “I still don’t know. They told me that I was being taken to meet a DPO. I just saw myself here this morning. I still don’t understand what’s happening.”

“My identity looks like that of a criminal, but I’m an artiste, not a cultist,” King of Madness said as he took off his shirt to reveal his body covered in tattoos.

He added that, “My mummy used to tell me that there’s a way a book will be too dirty that you won’t be able to touch it let alone identify its content.

“They are judging me by my appearance.”
