Many Are Inspired By The 17-year-Old Nigerian Who Built The Country’s First Locally-Made Drone.

David Opateyibo, a young Nigerian man, is succeeding in the field of technology and motivating many others who want to excel.

At the age of17, he created Nigeria’s first locally-made drone, which could fly for 15 minutes at a maximum altitude of 2000 feet, according to Face 2 Face Africa.

The drone is a high-breed blend of current drone components and locally produced material, according to the description.

A peek at his Instagram profile, @dronerios, reveals the young man’s progress in the creation of drones.

From one of the videos on his website, he was seen testing out a drone, which he soared into the sky while spectators looked on.
