It was Chibsah who gave us Danlad Ibrahim not Kotoko – Alhaji Gruzah claims
President and owner of King Faisal, Alhaji Gruzah has slammed Kumasi Asante Kotoko for being greedy and selfish after surviving relegation on Sunday.
He also adds that it was Yussif Alhassan Chibsah the player’s representative who gave him the player and not Kotoko.
According to Gruzah left to Asante Kotoko alone his side would not have had Danlad Ibrahim but for Yussif Chibsah.
The controversial King Faisal owner has always been having a pop at Asante Kotoko at the slightest attempt as he claims Kotoko are part of his woes and that of Kumasi based clubs who have in the past been relegated.
Asked on Accra based Asempa Fm that if Kotoko wanted his team relegated would they have loaned him Danlad Ibrahim Alhaji Gruzah answered,”It was Chibsah who gave us Danlad Ibrahim and not Kotoko”.
When he was told by the host that Chibsah unilaterally cannot give him Danlad Ibrahim he still insisted ‘It was Chibsah and not Kotoko”.
King Faisal drew 0-0 with Liberty Professionals on Sunday at the Red Bull Arena at Sogakope which ensured that they stayed in the Ghana Premier League for one more season.
Inter Allies, Ebusua Dwarfs and Liberty Professionals were relegated on Sunday with all three clubs that is King Faisal,Ebusua Dwarfs and Elmina Sharks tied on 41 points but the Faisal and Sharks had better head to head record than Dwarfs.
After surviving the relegation scare Alhaji Gruzah has found his voice and sent his city neighbours Asante Kotoko to the cleaners as he says they are greedy and selfish.
