If You Ask A Girl To Marry You And She Asks About Your Income, She Is Not A Gold Digger – Reno Omokri

Nigerian lawyer and political activist, Reno Omokri has asserted that the fact that a girl enquires about your income when you ask her to marry you does not mean she is a gold digger.

According to Reno Omokri, a wise woman must know the income of the man she is going to marry because the income of her prospective husband affects the outcome of the marriage.

The former presidential aide revealed that most marriages crashed because of lack of money in the marriage and a lot of social media users maligned with his thoughts.

Meanwhile I ain’t telling any lady the exact figures I’m earning except and until we’v been joined. You’d know my job, my business but not my earning power

It is better for both parties to be open and discuss incomes, general finances, any debts or loans, family obligations and expectations before getting married. Your partner should know what he/she is getting into. Problems usually arise when people hide money issues from their partners before marriage.
